Default got gunk on my project!!

I just used Jammer's trick to remove unwanted adhesive/paint from a half done painting. I had heat set part of the project with and iron and silicone cover sheet, forgetting about the duct tape holding the bottom of the cloth to the board. This got adhesive and paint on my cover (never checked to see if it had stuck to the cover). Later on, I heat set a different area, and that line of adhesive and paint left a green gooie line across my finished sky!!!!!!!
I rubbed it a bit with a finger nail and some came off, so I grabed a rag and rubbed some more.. this kind of made it worse. Next thought that entered my now freaking out mind was wet the rag. Lucky for me, I remembered a post jammer had made in reference to removing adhesive left behind when using stencils.
I put down the airbrush cleaner and rag and grabed the masking tape. I stuck some to the spots and ripped it off.. WOOHOOO.. it was coming off.. after a foot of tape and a few minutes almost perfect! What remains can be covered with paint and I can keep working on the project.
THANK'S JAMMER and whomever had asked the question in the first place!

No problems guys. I'm glad it took the adhesive off for you Doug. Sometimes it don't get it all but most of the time it saves a project. Works sometimes on unwanted overspray on tees too if its not heat set or have been on for to long. It doesn't always work but it's worth a try and sometimes it it doesn't take it all off.
This was a trick I read when I first started, not sure where, but I tried it and it saved a lot of work for me.
