Golden AB and Urethane Clear?

Hi All,

I've tried the Golden AB paints for the first time. Although I only have a small sample of others to com[pare to I found them great. I wish I ould use them as much a s possible. Now, thanks to KD and Don, it seems like they can be clear coated with enamel. But can they be cleared with 2 part urethane if used on something like eg. a guitar body?

They can be cleared with anything. They are higher quality paint than the autoair or other such "Auto" paints. These paints are made to last for decades unlike most cars...

if it werent for golden air brush paint i would have given up on airbrushing a long time ago. for years every thing i bought and tried was crap including createx and auto air. then i emailed golden and they actually sent me a sample box of thier paint. been doing the happy happy joy joy dance ever since.

they are simply the best airbrsuh paint out there. great for everything airbrush. i use em for portraits, murals, automotive, signs.......

I use them and reccomend them all the time, it's what I have all my students use for classes and in demos.
I have used the urethanes over them without any problems, enamels, rattle can acrylics, and laquers too, just make sure the paint is completely dry before you clear coat it.

So ,Golden ab paints can be used right from the bottle?

your gonna want to get the 4 oz bottles at least and every color too.
