Glass Painting

Hi
I'm an old hand at stained glass but a newby on airbrushing and wish to combine the 2 for more advanced work. Bought a gravity fed AB-180 and use Rockingham opaque enamel paints which fire at 600c. The paints are powdered glass which are mixed with water and gum arabic, very expensive. Anybody out there done any similar work and any tips.

Nope, but I would make darn sure I had a really good resporator on before spraying that stuff and lots of ventilation with no other people or pets in the room. Sound very bad for you when atomized...

Welcome to the boards. You'll find alot of friendly and experienced people here that actually like to help folks.

I've never used that type of paint before. I just use Auto Air and Createx on Lexan/Plexiglass. I'm with Aix though, Resporate and Ventilate, that stuff sounds mean.
