Question flamable paint?

i just got my golden a b acrylic paints and since my garage is so cold the only other place is in the utility room which also houses a gas furnace and gas water heater. the paints dont say flamable on them but i want to be sure. one time at work i was spraying carberator cleaner near a gas water heater and the pilot light caused a big boom boom. i have 6 children and i want to be safe. also what kind of ideas anyone have for maybe hanging plastic or something with maybe a couple clothes dryer hoses and some kind of fan circulating air through a window or something. trying to set my self up with a user friendly a b area ?????

"golden a b acrylic" it's water based paint

It's always best to use as little air pressure as needed to get good atomization no matter what kind of paint you are using, that takes trail and error sometimes but your health and your families health are worth it, over spray caused by running high PSI not only can potentially cause health problems, it makes a mess of the shop as dust settling on everything, it is actually your hard earned money going up in overspray, want to get better control of your paint budget, control your over spray.

I don't think you'll have a problem with that paint but please think about the above.

Your post warrants a lot of thought..You're a very smart & clever man to think about safety issues (especially with all of those kids)..I don't think there's anything flammable in or around acrylics, so no worry there-- but as for proper venting by all means get as much air ventilation as you can!! Wearing a good quality face mask is even advisable..there have been several previous posts with advise on this subject, maybe someone else can direct you to them.. this is always a good question, so until your comfortable with the answer you need to keep asking it..to be honest with you, my work area suffers from safety neglect, so I would be keen to hear how others would solve this problem--I have a built-in squirrel cage fan faced out of an open window & that's about it..
