Dont let the name fool you Im no airbrush Pro. Thats my companys name. I have been playing with my airbrush for a few weeks and got brave with my wifes helmet. This is my third try at paining it. I am not sure that i am done with it. All critics welcome. Marys Helmet 001.jpg

Hello Airpro & welcome to the forum..I'm not an authority on helmets & I'm sure you will get all kinds of responses & critiques on your job that will be more helpful..I think it turned out very well for you & the only other suggestion I would make is to put Mary's name on the side..good job!!

I'm no Pro at airbrushing but what i would suggest is to make your flames more flowing. If you look at an old Hot rod the flames are flowing, the curves are smooth.

Yea Snazee I am not all that good at cutting the tape my lines tended to go straight then turn rather than nice curves. I was kinda going for the torn & shredded look with the flames. thanks for the input .

Off to a good start so far, your challenging yourself and your trying good techniques, just keep practicing. I might suggest before jumping in and whipping up something as you go, get an idea, find referances to your final idea, even if its combinations of whatevers, and plan it out on paper first the best you can as it appears in your head. Dont worry if your not good at drawing, its a chance to practice that also, its just away to set a direction to start in. Keep coming back to the boards and the galleries. The artist that participate are wise and good at what they do and have grreat pointers for you to improve your own skills.
