Default Fire Face

This started out to be another attempt of fire. Then i stood back and saw a face.So i started to play around with it and this is what i came up with so far. Its not done yet and i have no idea where i'm going with it. Trying to make it look like a fire face (for a lack of a better term). So if anyone has a suggestion it would be greatly appreciated. It's on a old wooden table top. Who knows if i can get it to come out decent enough ( yeah right lol) maybe i'll clear it and use it for a show piece. Don't laugh to hard.

I refuse to laugh because you answer a question about your other post that I did not ask, I would touch -up the white inside of the nostils unless you want it to look like a piece of tissue paper stuck in the nostil, I would be very happy to buy this table except I doubt that I could afford it

Looks great Ralph. I would just sharpen up the edges and maybe mist a little orange reflections on the skulls. The hit the highlights with yellow. Your doing great.

Peeper is looking better for sure....not laffin here either.
On your
strokes it appears you are trying to lay the paint all at once....get some misting strokes going....lay the paint in stages
put lots of refs in front of you even if you dont use the ref design ...use elements from it.

You are doing great Ralph, your flames are coming along fine.... just try and lay less paint on the flame work to make it more transparent. Like Yard said, it appears that you are trying to lay down too much paint at one time... let the paint work for you.... don't be too heavy with it... you are doing great.... Keep up the good work....

hey ralph, that's looking good mate, i agree with everything that's been said, especially about too much too soon, i used to have the same trouble, but less is more, you'll really notice it once you get the hang of it
