These are all really good, but the Punctual Print thingy (sign?) is especially nice! Awesome use of color! Good vibrancy & layout, great lettering.

Re: A few latest jobbies!!
Hiya Darla, Thanks for the reply, I actually gave up a 12 year position as a print manager to concentrate on airbrushing, unfortunatley I haven't been making any way near the wage I was used to, but it is picking up and to be honest I don't think I've ever been happier!! More to life than money!!! but a little does help (lol). The sign was done for a local print Co. 8 x 4 sheet of MDF 16mm, I cut the shape by hand using a jig saw, primed it and went at it freehand, with an idea where the lettering was to be placed. Then gave it tons of clear coats (outdoor sign). Customer was happy.

Re: A few latest jobbies!!
Gerard, I agree with you & have found that I really enjoy sharing posts & pictures of each others work..I don't think that it matters if you're a novice or a seasoned pro--you can always benifit by reviewing your work with others..You're sure doing some attractive work..the background you got in printing shows in your layout skills & color selection..I've not known anyone from Ireland before..How is the climate for airbrushing there?? I've been in the commercial art field all my life & I'm getting so much amusement out of writing names as big as I can across a tshirt & getting paid for it..(is this another of those "only in America things"?) I think it's a shame that as a general rule artists have to hustle so hard to make a living, but I'm like you & don't know what else I'd rather do..I know all about those loving moments-- usually after a long weekend evening when I'm very tired, it's comforting to join the forum & it seems like I start throwing the little winky flirty faces all about!!

Re: A few latest jobbies!!
Well, I've just sent you apost on your gallery with the airbrush climate info, but I don't mind sharing! Its tough over here, large format printing and vinyll wraps are all the rage and airbrushing is relatively unknown, although there are quite a few doing it. Those who are seem to be very much word of mouth and they mainly deal with the automotive side. I want to expand on this and get it into the mainstream. I really am interested in setting up an airbrushed tattoo business and another thing I'd love to get into is custom painted furniture and clothing. I am currently going legit with the setting up of a full design studio, at present I airbrush virtually anything, but I would like to hone my skills to mainly a few areas. As I said, Airbrushing here is kind of underground and I intend on giving its potential for making a living, a good try. I've so much to learn and so far I haven't let it phase me.If you really want something and have such a love for it, nobody is going to just give it to you. And God loves a trier!!!!
