Do I need a high or low pressure compressor?

This information was posted at another airbrusing board, which has created some confusion for me.

I'm considering purchasing an Gravity Feed Iwata Revolution to paint fabric. I would be using a higher viscosity paint (either Jacqua's Dye-Na-Flow or Jacquard's Textile Paint) which is specifically for silk dying and airbrushing.

I read that high viscosity paints require a higher PSI (ideally 40-60 PSI) for the best results, yet the quote above states that lower pressure compressors are better for gravity feed.

Clarificaion?

I use the same compresser for suction-feed and gravity -feed airbrushes, gravity-feed use about 15psi, suction-feed requirement is between 30psi to 60psi

when it comes to compressors, more is always better. I ues a medium sized oil lubed shop compressor but if you are going to buy one of those "airbrush" compressors, the bigger the better, you can never have to much air! Do a search of the forums for "compessor" and check out the review area and see what people have to say about what they own.
