couple of batting helmets

These are a couple of helmets I did today, mainly just practicing. All critique is welcome.

Nice job on the helmets ghooptie..you can really become addicted to batting helmets & I love painting them..I would suggest a dark purple (anything but black) outline & a little softer colors for the hibiscus...any little boy would love the skulls..You can see all the thought put into these & you've done well..Throw a name on them and they're done!!

Looks good, I do agree with darla, anything except black, that why there are so meany shades of gray, even the darkest place has a little light. also when choosing colour, find your colour and drop a shade, a rose isn't red, and coal isn't black, hope this helps. keep at it..... all the best.
