Default candy colors

I have a question about candy colors. Can any candy color be sprayed over black without leaving overspary color? I know you can do it with red when painting true/real fire. Thanks

KD, I have used AA candy blue, orange and red over black without any noticeable overspray. I guess if you lay down several coats, ultimately it might start to affect your black but haven't noticed it. Big D would have a better idea. I've heard from Luc Boivin that AA candies fade too but I can't say.

I agree with Isa. The candys are dependent on light, of which black absorbs most of. Unless you build coats really heavy you shouldn't have any problems.

Without getting crazy, you should not have a problem. Just go light. It also depends on the color you use (in my opinion). We did a job quite a while back with a golden yellow kandie. In the sunlight you saw a bit of a "glow" where the kandie went over the black. It was also only 2 light coats, so beware! Since then I mist over the kandies with the underlying base to eliminate any chance of that ugly glow effect. Keep in mind that it really depends on what the base color is, the color of the kandie and the amount of it you spray.

I think the base color is going to be white and . geez I dunno yet LOL I want to do a stack of small skulls, in like a dungeon style, with something in the middle of them all, and I want to make it appear like it is looming in the dark. Thats about all I got for now LOL Thanks for the help ya'll, it's very much appreciated.
