Default air compressor noise

hi everybody. im new to airbrushing and just bought the campbell hausfeld fp2040 "quiet air" compressor to start off. It was around $120. its supposed to be 50% quieter then the previous fp2048 model which is 30 or 40 dollars cheaper. basically the noise is louder than i expected, mainly from hearing ppl describe the fp2048 as loud as a blender at high setting. i know industrial compressors are much louder than ones made by art companies so i expected some noise but i just want to make sure that i didn't pay an additional 40 dollars for no real difference. i would say mine sounds about as loud as a blender. i definitely have to raise my voice a little to talk over it. does anyone else have this compressor that could describe how loud there's is? thanks.

I got a CH 4 gal dual tank and it's LOUD!!! I just put it outside and run a line in. I'm not paying top dollar for a quiet compressor when this one works great. builds up fast and is great for using bigger guns like a minijet.
