Default Actually get to start

Right this is it, my essay's are in, and I have nothing but airbrushing to do tomorrow.

Up until now, I have just played around with it as and when I can, but tomorrow I get to use it properly, all day. I thought I would start the day with a warm up session, then actually see if I can create something. I have some lampshades to try out, so I hope to do some of those, I also have a few t's that I can play around with.

However, my question relates to a skateboard I was given today. I went into a shop, and asked if they had any second hand boards so that I could practice my ABing on a different canvas, they had one, so I asked how much they wanted, and they said I could have it, which I thought was lovely.

Now, the problem I am having is that I am not quite sure what to do with it, I have figured out the design, but not sure about the prep work involved. Do I just sand it down, sugasoap it, and prime it before ABing just like I would before painting door frames? Or will I need to do something else to it?

Any help would be much appreciated. I am using Com-Art Paints.
