Default New canvas painting

There was a canvas brought by a very old and dear friend, and it has been sitting in my studio for a long time. I decided to give it a start. It is 30cmx40cm. He wanted sth to do with Istanbul on it, and he knows I am keen on Maiden's Tower, so he asked me to include it in the painting. It is a freehand work and I started with no sketches and no pencil lines on the canvas; straight on with airbrush. I drew it with airbrush, in black, then I started to apply some white. I have finished one load of white paint and stopped for a while. Here, how it looks now. I will try to post following stages later. But I have two helmets which I have to finish first and give back to the customer by the end of this week. Therefore this one might be staying like this for a little longer I think.
