Default Tank Air

I have been doing some temporary Tattoo's, the problem I have run into is at some of the place I have been asked to work they have no power so can't run compressor. I wanted to find out about using Tank air for spraying on the Tatts, Has any one done this? If so what tank is the best?

Thanks
Mal

yeah Mal, you should be right as, the thing with the temp tats is that it's all low pressure so a tank should last a far while.

Another option is to use a couple of spare tires, rim and all, these hold a brilliant amount of air and you can easily throw a few in the boot before you head out.

Sorry no data on tanks but..
How about a portable generator, has more uses then just a tank. With high pressure tanks you have to have them filled and need a welding supply or Dive shop that can fill them. If you compressor has a decent size tank, the generator would only need to run when you ran out of air...Check out Craigs list in your local area for used generators..

2 great ideas, thanks guys.
Rowie I never thought of the spare tyers, that would make thing a lot easier and cheaper.
Aixguy just running the generator when I need it is brilant, I was thinking of a generator but did think of just running it when i needed it.

Those spare tires will last maybe,15 minites.I use a marine battery with an inverter and it has never let me down in an 8 hour event, and that includes lights.Just charge it up at night and its ready for the next day.

I,v been shooting tatts for about 8 months now, used dive tanks worked good but I invested in a small generator keep my small compressor going just fine not a lot of noise and I fire it up when needed.
