Default Two Styles of Painting

Here is combining two styles of painting together. Pinstriping
and Airbrushing . The eagle is done in Auto-Air, then the striping work
is done in One Shot. I have finally done an Eagle I like.
Hope you like this one. It is a Christmas Present for a friend at Starbucks.

Very nice, I'd be proud of that for sure and I'm sure you are! Question for you, is that done on canvas?

Cliff,
Thank you very much!!! I can't tell you how many times I practiced on paper and metal to even get the look for an eagle. Now I want to do my Banjo Case
too, as it is a hard surface.

This surface that I pinstriped on and airbrushed is an Oven Burner Cover.
Quickchange who is also a airbrush artist here gave me this idea a few years
ago. She made me a beautiful eagle on a burner cover and sent it to me.
You can buy these at most stores in black and white, and they are not
real pricey. I think for four of them I paid about $6.00. The good thing is
its a hard surface to practice on or just paint them up. Scuff lite with a scotch pad airbrush it and spray clear to protect it. Then Stripe it in oil based paints when finished. I only use a Acrylic type spray can clear at this time to seal airbrushing. Let set a few days before doing anything else.
These are a good way to get a feel painting on hard surfaces. I used to buy
metal panels but the edges are always sharp.

Thank you Cliff,
Fresnojohns

John, awesome job on the pin stripping as always, as for the eagle, it looks awesome... you have done and incredible job on this and I am sure your friend will love it... I keep saying that I am going to try the pen stripping, but I still haven't. I have to order me a brush and some paint first.... again your work is awesome....

John, that, my friend, is outstanding!

The eagle is beautiful and the striping is just perfect for the job mate.

Well done brother.

KD and Ralph,
Thanks for the good words!!!!!! Airbrushing and pinstriping can
work very good together. You can also just do a simple border
stripe around the airbrush design or even some gold leafing.
Maybe the next one I will do a real different style of striping
to accent.
Thanks again,
Fresnojohns
