Default somethin new

got hubby brushes and paint for dad's day, but he's too busy so after weeks of pestering by another freind, I broke it out and went at it myself. Hubby says he'll get to it when he has time.

got some tapes and practiced,,,

Was using a green mack 00, freind sent a blue 00, much better!
This just proves, practice first, get the feel and then just do it!
This has kept me busy for the last 3 weeks, can't ab during summer while kids out so this has saved my sanity, (like I had any of that to start with lolol)
thanks for lookin

Very nice work for sure....I still havent tried mine yet .....had the stuff for weeks now.....I did use one of the brushes to create some fine hair on the lightning bug on my car, and could tell I was gonna like the way it flowed.
Thanks for posting.......

That is a great idea to get the hubby things that you can use if he don't.

thanks folks, I thought I'd shake too, I do with anything else, but pulling a line slow and steady , the brush is a lil forgiving. And the bracing with the other hand helps alot!

And ya gotta remember, in abing, we can blend our lil mistakes into the pic, but with stripes, the lil differences are the charm to hand made instead of machine printed stickers ~plus if you don't like a stripe, wipe it off! lol
thanks for the compliments~

Witchy,
I love that panel. I like the way you do those (v) type designs.
You can do a million things on bugs. Great to see you.
