Opatience,
Thank you!! I used an Iwata HP CS Eclipse. I brushed on the OneShot first.
Then when it tacks up I mix the One Shot to be airbrushed.
Many people use all kinds of stuff to thin with. I use One Shot Reducer only
to thin paints in the airbrush. Do not shoot super thin over tacked up one shot, as it can lift it. I usually have to play with it alittle bit. For my taste I
like to shoot it alittle thicker. I believe there is instructions on the cans
to reduce it.
I will not reduce it over 25%. Such as 4 drops of paint/1 drop of reducer, sometimes 2 drops. Spray at low pressure, you will get overspray easy. Its like a synthetic enamel only oil based. Some colors are thinner out of can also. Wear protection!!!
To me it seems they are always changing the formulas??????
You can use mineral spirits or even turpintine but remember, one shot reducer is made for this. Using some other thinners can make your higlights fade out quicker too.
Their are some sign painters who use this through the airbrush and really make it look classy. Check out some of the big trucks in your area. Those guys do super nice work!!!!!
Thanks,
Fresnojohns
