Default question time!

i have a project that the customer wants the adhesive type of pinstripe. it is a twin stripe, one thin and one thick. i am trying to match up the existing pinstriping. it is also the same type of tape. my question is how do you get this tape to do a tight turn??? i have tried a couple of times and i get bad wrinkles. a pic to show what i am trying to match. any ideas????

It may help to pull the tape around tight corners as you lay it down, or , you may try to use a blow dryer set on low as you lay it round tight corners.

KD is on the right track. Striping tape is a bitch to pull nice corners. The dryer thing will work, but be patient. To much heat will break the tape. Also try to pull a corner not as tight, then lift it and re do a bit closer to the actual corner, then again, therefore stretching the tape a bit at a time. Just pull a line of (junk) tape for your straights and then "finesse" it in there. Takes a bit of time but will work.
Good luck.

I usually pull them apart and lay them down one at atime,... on something that size it's not to hard to keep your spacing between the stripes.
