Default Here’s a Question for you Oneshot stripers, Has anyone ever tried airbrushing oneshot

I have a little job to do and I was thinking of trying reduced black oneshot in my Iwata BCS with a .5 tip. Now I know it’s like a catalyzed type paint but I’ve use catalyzed clearcoat on numerous occasions without any problems though my BCS, I just clean it real good ASAP.

Any input on the subject?

Thanks Rick.

Hey Rick, I have used reduced oneshot in my HPC .3 without any problems. I ran oneshot reucer through it right afterwards and cleaned with mineral spirits. I don't like to do it to often just because it takes longer to clean than usual.

It works great but the one shot takes a awful long time to dry.

Thanks guys, it’s good to know anyway, at least it gives me more options for shading some of the striping done with oneshot on top of the clearcoat.

Thank You, Rick.

I shot some 1 shot metalic silver once because I wanted something with less flake in it than the Orion silver, and it turned out good but I much prefer uros. for airbrush, for the reasons in the above replies. AL
