Default 2 last work

Hi

I practice , and practice again ! I suprise myself to play with my fingers and think in my bed during the night how should i hold my brush to get a better control ! It's becoming close to an obcession !
Even if it's becoming better, i now front a wall and have to find a way to kill my right side curves problem !

You're becoming a very fine pin striper patoche..You said the two magic words that garauntee success & they are practice & obsession...When you start to mentally think of the use of the brush even while you sleep & see different designs--that means you've reached the stage where if the oportunity arose, you could come out & play with the big boys..VERY nice work..& you already know that practice will even make it better--you haven't reached a peak yet..The skies the limit for you!!

Thanks all

Darla,i've found something today and it has changed a lot may way to practice. When i do pinstriping , i don't turn arround my glass, i let it front of me and the chalenge for me is to able to do it like this, just to be sure that i will be able to pinstrip something even if i 'm not in cofortable position; I'm right hand , and until now , i was focus only on my right hand ( position of the fingers , control shaking , etc...). In fact , i've solve many of my problem by focus on my left hant , it's now this hand witch give the direction to my line , the other one just control the pressure on the surface , the brush position and the amount of paint!!! By this way , now i'm able to push and pull long curves , and solve many problems of small place to find a good support.
Here my last one , finished few minutes ago. Pretty happy of my curves, they are not perfect but they have been push from the bottom to the up of the design.

Pat

Well now you're starting to use your head!!!!! & yes the right hand only holds the brush gently, twisting the brush ever so slightly, in & out of curves, all the time while the eye (mental) & the left hand direct the path..In the middle of your dreams it seems you woke up.. -- this is a pretty piece & it looks like it came effortlessly--Ha! Ha!--Only the very brave try this (especially on their own) & very few last long, because of the dedication to practice that it takes--you've succeeded patoche & I stand here & I applaud you--sure wish there was a big silver trophy or something to present to you!! But the real prize is the satisfaction that you sense within yourself--& of course it allows you to go hustle up some high paying jobs.. I was always taught & I've found that it's really hard & a little unwise to start from the bottom, but in truth this is entirely up to the artist.. All's fair in art & anyway you can get attractive linework (even if you have to stand on your head) is acceptable..I wish you good fortune with your new found expertise!!

Nice work Pat! I can only imagine where you will be in a few months. You are already way good enough to get paid really good for this type striping.
Well done again!
