Today!
Brother's and Sisters, WHAT A DAY I’VE HAD!
Being my 44th today I thought I would celebrate with it also being my first birthday in 5 years that I have not needed to be in hospital for any reason so I told work to go to hell and just busted loose and just worked on the 36 sedan.
So being a freaking warm day (35c) this is what we got done, finished cutting a template for the remaining glass, so the rear screen is ready to be cut in real glass, the hydraulic brake lines are all done and working, accelerator and choke are working brilliantly.
I’m still screwed on the shift for the borg-warner 35 auto and the handbrake is shitting me!
Most of the electrics are in and working, also plumbed up the fuel line on the donk and fitted an inline filter.
I will be replacing the 6mm fuel line from the tank tomorrow (hopefully) with something bigger but get this!
IT TURNED OVER!! WOOHOOOO!!
TURN THE KEY, PUSH THE BUTTON AND WURRR, WURRR, WURRR.. OMG!! Never thought I would hear that!
So exciting, going to throw some fuel in it tomorrow and see if we can get it to breathe fire!

Man what a day!
Sad to report though that the fuel pump is stuffed, water pump leaks live a sieve but at least she's getting so damn close!
