Shout to L A

I know this might seem a bit on the early side but we are now in the planning process.

OK here,s the deal my wife and I will be in L A for a couple of days in May 2009 and I need some help. I have been jumping around the Internet trying to find a reasonably priced Hotel/Motel where we could stay for a couple of days before we travel on to the Cook Islands.
So I thought hey maybe I might have a bit of luck on the best A/B site on the net, I know that here we have members from all over the place and if possible it would be great maybe to hook up with a fellow A/Ber whilst in L A so if anybody has any help or suggestions please let me know.

Boy you have a looonng flight dont you Neder!?!
I guess it all depends on where you want to stay, near the airport or some where near the coast.
I've stayed a few places there but mostly near Santa Monica or in the mountains like Santa Clarita. I'm pretty sure there is plenty of places to stay near the airport though.
Which airport are you coming in on?

Yeah Lee your right a long flight but I,ve done a few over the years, India,Canada,Cuba,and for the first time State Side even if it is only for three days. We will coming into LAX.
