I am evacuating and may be out of net for while
Just to give you all an update, I am definatly evacuating in the morning. I just talked to a friend that has just left a homeland security meeting and he said it is predicted to come directly over us and be a slow moving storm and have at least tropical storm winds steady for up to 48hrs straight..... crap  .... I have loaded all of my airbrush stuff, can't leave any of it, it is like it's part of me now....LOL.... but I will chat with you all when I am able......

Thanks everyone for your thaughts and prayers. I am leaving my computor to pack last...he...he...ha.... Can't stay away. I will be leaving first thing in the morning. Man, my oldest son works at Radio Shack, asst. manager, only been there about 3 weeks, well his manager runs off to Texas and tells him he has to keep the store open until there is a mandatory evacuation, oh sorry it is in Lake Charles. That really pisses me off... She is the manager and if in one should stay till the last minute it should be the manager... They said she did the same thing last time with hurrican Rita... Well he may not have a job when he gets back, can't say I blame him.... Anyway, I will be checking in and out tonite as much as I can before bed... and any chance I get to use a computer while evacuated believe me I will cause I fot to have my fix of Airbrush Tech....YOU GUYS... I want you all to know that you are all some really cool people...

wow, get out of town. Good luck and stay safe.
The worst we get up here in Canada is the odd thunder storm in the summer and in winter, it's blizzards or ice storms.

Hey Bill thanks for popping in and letting us know
You and the others are on our prayer list at our local churchs.
We are getting a bit of the rain now, and the wind is kicking up here.
I 59 is bumper to bumper...the reality sets in when we see that....
We are Aprrox 120 mi NE of NO....[so far] out of diract path, but still anything goes....Our church is one of the official Clarke Co shelters, and we are definatly on the list to offer our 2 extra bedrooms...and camper [sleeps 6] if needed.....Im so gald you made it safe, and I sure hope you can go home to things not too bad....

Hey Bill I am glad you evacuated!! I really worry about any people that stayed, and I saw on the news that some did. They were shrimp boaters with family and children. Just scary stuff overall. They are in there boats. Watch the weather channel and they might show them again.

Thanx Brad, Yard it could put us right in it, my house is just above Lake Charles, I have neighbors that stayed and a lot of friends also, I told them they needed to leave. They really need to think about their children instead of money and the hassel of leaving..... just don't know about some people.

Man I hate to hear that
Ya know when those decisions are made its not only bad for the kids and family, but when things go wrong look at the rescuers that have to put their life on the line to correct things.....its sure one of those times in life when you have to put others above yourself, and material things.
