Starting with issue #21 Airbrush Technique Magazine will also be available in digital format. With the cost of mailing the magazine outside the US going thru the roof I think that the digital format will be a great solution for those outside the US to become involved in the magazine for a reasonable price.

I approved issue #21 today and expect it to be live 5/29/08 (tomorrow).

Artist web site address's are live in the digital magazine so if you click on the link it will take you directly to that artists web site to view more of their art work, pretty cool.

I think this is a great idea Don,... it will cater to a much larger market,... the price is right,... and the buyer doesn't have to wait weeks after buying for delivery,... almost instant gratification.
Will individual issues be availuable,... how about back issues? Just a thought.

Rowie, Patrick, Lee looked at some different solutions to do this for me I think we came up with the best one.

Issue #21 is available now digital and all the issue's going forward, not sure on back issues yet it's expensive to convert the books, we'll see.

The digital magazine is an exact copy of the newsstand magazine it's just another way of publishing it, it's in addition to the newsstand magazine it is not replacing it.

Times are tough for folks $$ wise the digital magazine allows me to get the magazine to more people at more affordable price.

It now costs $4.70 to mail one magazine internationally; mailing costs went up twice last year. That makes it about $10.00 per issue for folks overseas for the newsstand magazine.



With the digital magazine it’s $3.99 no matter where you live.


If you subscribe to the newsstand magazine nothing changes.

If you want to also get the digital magazine it's available.

I am old fashioned and love the idea of having something to hold onto and take it with me wherever I go whenever I chose... so I love magazines and books but I can understand the need to provide this additional form of media.

With the digital verssion of the magazine will it be possible to download the magazine so that it can be backed up on cd/dvd so the we can print up or transport it with us to another computor/laptop/location...
