WORSE RACE EVER

That race today will go down as the worse race in NASCAR history what a joke.

You can't even call it a race in fact.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix I did watch it this morning. To bad Hamilton had his brake issues and DNF.

Best racing on TV is Grand Am but it's off season right now.

Yep but we did have Button finish third for us. Its good to know you watch
F1. I don't know to many folks from your side of the pond that do. I do not
get to see a lot of NASCAR now my air-force buddies left the country and to their
satellite systems with them LOL.

I agree with ya Don like most of the drivers and announcers were saying Nascar is putting them in a box and not letting them race anymore.There are just too many rules and regulations now. I still don't like the chase for the cup either with the top 12 drivers. Any bets that Johnson takes the cup again quickly losing interest in the sport especialy if Johson wins the championship again.

As with all things... guys making big bucks start taking over & it goes downhill from there. It's nothing like it was in the early years... too pretty boy. It was far more exciting back when you'd go to a fight & a race broke out.

HAHAHAHAHA... that is funny but true Scrib.... I have lost nearly all interest in the cup... pretty boy image and all about advertising...... get back to the real deal and get rid of the mr. nice guy image.... let them race.... just my 2 cents...

Yeah Don, that is one good way of looking at it, more airbrush time... it is sad though... it used to be very good sport when they used to really let them race...

Hey to all, guys if your fed up with Nascar(which I do enjoy) , you have got to get on board the V8 supercars. Nothing in my opinion matches these guys. Bathurst is the pinicle of the season, 1000kms or 622 miles of road race on THE MOUNTAIN.

If they enforced no blocking like the rules state jamie would have been sent to the back and not won

its turned into a boring joke for the most part they have taken the racing out of it with that new car

Woody, I must agree, being an Aussie helps I guess But V8 supercars is falling into the same traps as NASCAR where all of the cars are essentially the same and the rule makers have their head so far up their own backsides that they have no idea what we as the public really want!
I remember watching Bathurst when there was a huge assortment of cars and drivers, Valiants, Camaro's, Mustangs, Torana's even mini's getting around the toughest street circuit in the world.

That was exciting....

I couldn't agree more brother! I sold one of my old Dodge's to pay for the cable TV so that I could watch more motor sport since I'm home and in front of the tube so much more these days. In recent times I could have honestly had more fun and excitement watching the traffic on the local streets!

They may as well hitch them all together and have them drive around the track on a set of rails!

Amateur racing or speedway has my interest a bit more these days, oh and drag racing.

But if I was asked if I regret loosing the parts car right now I would have to say YES!

And for F1 racing, it is now a race of attrition where the driver who's car is still running at the end is the winner. I feel it's sad when the most exciting parts of a race is the accidents and the rest is just a waiting game.

Rowie, I agree totally with the old school races. The only time I stopped watching was when the P*****R Sierras were running.

As I live in the very remote top of Aus, can anyone tell me how Marcus Ambrose is going over there. He blitzed all in the V8 supercars, was wondering if he has stood up with the transition to the oval.
