OK, I'll try to "stir it up" some. Most of the NASCAR fan(s) DON'T like Road Course(s) anyway ( You can't see the whole race track from one spot - Waahhh !!!

). Personally, I LIKE 'em and think they show a driver's skill level( gotta' turn left AND right, use your brake(s) and shifter more ). Did anybody notice how much the track had been "improved" for NASCAR race(s)?
Did anybody notice that the race "ended on a caution" AGAIN?? ( the field was "frozen" when the caution came out, and everybody "finished" in the position they were in when "the yellow waved" ).
NASCAR obviously has a lot of "clout" when a racetrack is willing to invest so much money, modify the layout so much ( for better sight-line(s) ), etc... WHEN - that is ONLY ONE race out of the ENTIRE SCHEDULE of event(s) that they run there. It is kind of sad that a "World-Class Facility" like Sonoma "bends over backward" just to please the sanctioning body responsible for ONE EVENT. Seems like it's "kinda' scripted" Huh ?? DrD
