Well we are down to the final weekend of the season for NASCAR.

Looks like Jimmy has it locked up this year

Been a pretty boring chase I thought this year.

The buzz is Google is looking at buying Sprint

Hows it sound the Google Cup instead of Nextel Cup for next year?

Yeah, I know I'm a bit late chiming in on this thread but I've been busy reading through everything else on the site here....

Anyway, it was a pretty boring Chase. Pretty boring season as a whole. While I'm not a fan of either Johnson or Gordon (truth be told, I REALLY don't like Johnson at all) I don't think I'd be too thrilled with any season that had two drivers win half the races, regardless of who the two were. It got old seeing those two winning, and it got old seeing Junior blow up every other race, or so it seemed.

Yes, I'm a Dale Jr. fan, passed down from being a Dale Sr. fan. I'm hoping this move to Hendricks will be what he needed to get going. Hopefully next season is better....I watched fewer races this year, and even less complete races, than I can remember ever watching in a full season.

I've seen the rumors about Google buying out Sprint, but just don't see it happening. Buying and operating a telco would be going against their complete business model. About the only thing I could see them doing would be to buy it to acquire the wireless network and then scrapping the rest. Google business ethics and persona just don't mesh with those of a "brick-and-mortar" type of business like Sprint.
