Re: Nice pinstripe video, LOOK
Ok, okay.. dumb question 3002, lol
Where do you find designs to use for practice and learning?
I am curious. When learning to do scroll work, I used books with designs in them. Then as I got the control better, I started free forming.
Is there such a book with pinstriping designs?
Oh, and is there anyone here that would be willing to do a critque for those wishing to learn striping? brush prep, loading, striping, etc?

Re: Nice pinstripe video, LOOK
wahhhho.
how to control the body move like this !!!!???????????
When i gone in India , i've seen india guys doing some golg striping over full 500cc english Enfield motobikes . Without any pencil or drawing , they were do some incredible pinstrips over tanks , fender ....!!! Both sides were exac-tly the same , with the same curves , exactly the same thickness.
They did pinstrip over new bikes to sell , nothing is done with machine, everything is done by hand. Many bikes in a day and all are perfect , exactly the same perfect design pinstrip .
World is full of incredible artists, very incredible and talented people everywhere in the world
Thanks for the line, it recall me my trip in india where ive been marvel by these incredible artists. I'm agree , pinstrip is close to surgery act for me.
very very impressive !

Re: Nice pinstripe video, LOOK
Bobbo Dunn has an excellent pinstriping book full of designs. go to his website. Another good book is Pinstriping masters. There are some great dvds out there too I just got Gary Jensens Dynamic Pinstriping and the way he pinstripes leaf alone makes it worth the price of the dvd. Thanks for sharing those vids guys. Watching the experts they make it look easy, actually its a long learning curve but well worth it and a lot of fun. Notice even the pros dont lay down a perfect line which is what freehand pinstriping is all about and makes it so much better than vinal tape. Stripe on! AL

Re: Nice pinstripe video, LOOK
Well thank you eveyone.
I have been pretty busy, with the T shirts; which is good..
I did finally get the Mack00 out and a can of enamel. I ordered a DVD from Wizard and well, I pulled my first set of lines and ran out of play time. So instead of me taking "a few months" to complete the practice strokes, it will most likely take me a year. LOL However, not to bad, I guess all the years of using the liner/scroll for other forms of painting is not useless. I did learn two things really fast. I may need to cut the brush handle down a bit because my hands are a bit small to hold it correctly and will have to cut my nails off "AGAIN" on the right hand.. sigh, oh well, never was a girly girl, so I guess it is not a big deal. LOL
Thank you all again for helping and I will see how it goes.
