Where are all you NACSAR fans at?...

I can't believe there has been no NASCAR talk since Sundays race... I guess you guys might be torn on whether to be sad since Jeffy took home the trophy, or maybe you are still laughing because Tony barely placed in the top ten after leading most of the race... or... Could it be that you are still in shock that "Little E" came out of nowhere to give the Hendrix team a run for their money...

No mater who you were cheering for, you gotta admit it was one heck of a race...

Amy thoughts?...

plain old busy is al
I went sat. it was a great time
I was surprised how few people where there
we gt right in and out of the races, had a great time

Sunday--Fox's coverage leaves alot to be desired, the commericals where killing me , 2 minutes of race coverage 5 minutes of commericals. don't know about anyone else but that really got to me, it won't do much to get the fan base to grow eathere who wants to watch 2 hours of commericals??

Little E did all right, big picture this year POINTS

Tony was Tony he used his car up staying in front until it counted the last lap

I will say the only way Harvick will see the winners circle is by hiring Tony to drive for him

I agree...It was a really exciting final 3 laps. The commercials really suck.way too many and the breaks were way too long. I just wish I could go see a live race. I've never seen one and probably never will.

You ain't lived until you've been to a NASCAR race in person... It is awesome!!!

I never have been to a race at Datona, but here is a photo of me and a buddy that was taken about a week prior to the Datona 500 last year... Got to see a few test runs by some of the Hendrix drivers...

Oh yea I am the guy on the Right!!!

Well here is a question that should spark a little debate ... how do you feel about the new "impound rule". Will this make all the cars more competitive, all car's slower in the first part of the race, more adjustment's throughout the race, or will things just remain the same?

You ain't lived until you have leaned over the fence on the start line at a NHRA Drag Racing
event and just tried to keep your eyes open when a top fueler leaves the line... It is like somebody just pointed a shotgun in your face and pulled the trigger.... I used to go to all
the NASCAR races, even owned and drove a late model at a smaller track in Langley VA. But every since I went to a Drag Race I have never been back to a circle track, oh yea and the late model damn near bankrupted me, but damn it was fun.

I know the feeling, I spend my summers here working the staging lanes at Brainerd International Raceway, work all the show and go's and car club events all summer to "qualify" to work the National event in August. As fun as NHRA is I still prefer NASCAR. Nothing like a little bumpin' and bangin' at Bristol or 180+ at Daytona to get the heart beat up. I was watching the Bristol race on tv with my bride to be when she saw a wedding on the track, thought it would be a different way to get married, got tickets for last fall and got hitched on the track.

I never miss a event at Brainerd, I go to sturgis and hit Brainerd on the way home....just a awsome track and a fun town...I am from central WI so it is pretty much just on the way home.

One of the things I like the most about drag racing is the open pits and you get to actually meet and talk to everyone.

Impound rule i think has been in place in Bush series for awhile it might make for some tighter racing with the cup cars, should be a good race tommorow
