This contest is open to all Airbrush Technique members, I will leave it up to you to decide if you consider yourself a newbie, we are asking that only inexperienced artists enter this contest, if you feel that you meet the qualifications, you can certainly enter.
im mad,,where is everyone,,lets go already!! you are missing a great opportunity to feel the vibe of the contest,,GET STARTED,,,dont worry about other entries,,just try ya best,,DONT BE SHY,,ENTER ALREADY SOMEONE
Well I still suck so I'm gonna enter it. I'll probably wait till a little later to enter my pics but if only one person enters... is the contest void then? Does more than one entry need to be made for the contest to be official?

I beleive that still holds. There must be a minimum amount of entries.

I just tried to do a bird with dagger strokes and WOW I still can't draw for crap hahaha. Daggers look great... just can't draw. Oh well I guess that'll come with practice too.
I think I'm overqualified for this, lol. or is that underqualified??????
After i finish cutting down my father-in-law's palm trees, then ride 120 km to pick up one night's wages(damn useless agent) and program 2 songs, i'll be entering this contest. so by the looks of things, i might be the first one up... must be others entering surely??
Hey Lorin, I really don't consider myself an experienced airbrush artist, but I really don't think I'm a newbie. So I won't be entering anything in this contest and I don't have any tins to work on so I'll have to sit both these contests out!! Oh well, that's OK, I'll sit back with my vodka and popcorn and watch the talent and vote!!!!! GO EVERYONE!!!!!! CINDY
Hey Bahamut, do you get the feeling there's a heap of us staring at computer screens waiting to see the standard of the first pic????? Seeing as how you get one shot at it, it has to be good, so gotta put everything into it. I can do a landscape like the demo brush did above, but that's not what it's all about.........could do with another brush though....
wonder what my mother-in-law would say if i asked her to sit for a portrait, then AB'd her with dots dashes and daggers, lol

Bahama, ya don't need to know how to draw... if ya have a printer, find the pic you would like to paint, print it out and tape it to a window faceing the sun, place a piece of traceing paper over that and trace it, then flip the traceing over and trace over that with a water color pencil. After ya do all that, then place the tracing, water color side down, on the surface ya want to paint on and rub it with yer thumbnail or a plastic spoon, and whala, ya have yer pic ready to paint. plus ya got yer reference pic too
Cmonty, I think you qualify for this contest, you have done some nice work, but you have only been at it for about 2 years now, I consider this still in the Newbie status, I say go for it, we need all the entries we can get!!!
