Well I contacted Spiderman, and he wanted to go forward with the voting for the contest even though there were only (5) entries. Voting will be for the next (3) days only!!! Cast your vote for your favorite piece.

I want to thank all contestants that have entered, and remind all of them that we conducted a vote as we always do to give everyone the chance to pick thier favorite piece, But as stated in the rules Spiderman has the last word for picking the LOGO he wants to use for his business, so later today he will be posting the entry he has chosen as the winner and the prize will be awarded accordingly. Ok everybody after much debate and much capitulation we’ve made a decision!

First I must thank Brush and Don for running a great contest and providing a wonderful forum for all of us to partake in something like this. I think all the entries are fabulous and I would be proud to use any one of them for the store, however there can be only one.

While the popular vote went to Patoche and the wonderful brush detailed entry, my wife and I are of the opinion it focuses more heavily on the painting side of things.

The runner up entry from Cameron Arts gets the nod.

This entry showcases many different styles of art form, the design lends itself to scaling up and down and the overall concept allows the store to be opened in many other cities without disturbing the overall look and feel of the logo. In our opinion this design is the one that meets our needs more fully.

As a side note, it kind of reminds me of the “google” logo in that the letters that make up the logo are shapes that can be manipulated depending on the season and targeted to marketing. Very attractive!

So while the popular vote is for Patoche, the winning entry at a very close second is Cameron Arts!!!!

No problem , it is normal that you decide to use the work witch you thing to be the best for you shop.
It's a little bit frustrating but after 5 minutes of frustration, it cames to my mind a very good news:
I will able to play on the next contest (concidering i didn't win this one!)
Whatever, you took the right decision and would like to wish you good luck with your shop!
Last thing, don't feel embarrassed to use my design if you need it for something: tees for you shop ,flyers or whatever , it's yours. I will not use it! let me know if you want a bigger size picture.

Patoche, your design is awesome & very creative & it must've been very difficult not to choose it. I wouldn't have wanted to be in Spiderman's shoes, for sure. It didn't surprise me at all that you won the popular vote. You should be proud of such a great painting, & it's very gracious of you to offer it up for use.

Well, the first thing I'm doing is renewing my subscription to Airbrush Technique mag! LOL!

After that, it's all about reopening the shop in March to work part time (2 days a week). I'm going to upgrade some software, get business cards printed, replenish my paint supplies that I sold off when I closed, refurbish & upgrade some equipment, & put the leftovers into savings for a pinstriping/goldleafing class.

I'm so excited to get back to work. This is heaven sent.
