that is fantastic work if ur asking for pointer to make it better i think its great the way it is the only thing i would do if i could be able to render something like this is i would add a backround although its hot enuff as is i would add a backround maybe something basic like ripping out the hood or comming out someones stomach even something like flames but like i said before thats hot as it just my 2 cents

very nice job cuda.
even though it looks like it sticks out of the hood i have to agree with zero it would look not better but more finished with a backround.

Killer Cuda! I agree, a background would really finnish it off.

I'm goin' just the opposite!!!

I REALLY like how it appears to "float" over the surface.

I would definitely not add a background to it.

But hey, everybody has different tastes and those who do not agree with me are a sad, deprived, wretched lot!

don't mess it up but try doing another panel and add different background to find one that will make it seems to be floating thru. the AIR which I like the most

Cuda ,,,, what a great design . As for a background or not , it depends on the image you are trying to convey to those looking at it . Both ways are right but each will lend a different message to your mind . So you must decide what it is you are trying to say with it . Then let your paint work for that purpose . Keep up the great work though ,, it is very good .

This is two skull attempts I've done , but they are from a t-shirt kit , so I had something to copy , they need work also . Working from your own image is tougher than copying someone elses work . So keep your head up and keep trying , you'll make it .The date on the pictures are wrong . These were done this past January .

thank's for the comments everyone.it's my 5th skull so was pleased it at least had some depth when i first finished . I do agree some background would be cool but I also like the way it looks like it's floating above the bonnet. So am going to buy another bonnet (hood) lol. and do another .

Yes Rowie it's a falcon would rather it a valiant ute being a mopar/chrysler man myself but not easy to find val ute's nowadays. And for only $2000 and no rust and straight i couldn't say no.

here is a pic of my first ever skull about 15 months ago and 3rd i did about 10 months ago thanks to everyone on here that has helped me in slowly improveing my skill with the AB.
regards steve

I had a gut feeling Cuda had deeper meaning.

You should check out my old Mopars, good to have a fellow Penstar fan aboard.

You need a shoehorn to get in these things red, these are cars I used to own and drive.

Now this GT40 is an original, it's not my one but the colour and style is exactly the same, we even have an original set of FoMoCo/Shelby factory drawings to build the replicas from.

I don't have the time, money or energy to build them anymore but my best mate Martin does.
