k for joyce and cmonty and anyone who wants customized graffiti hats heres how I DO THEM,,,
no airbrush,,,sorry its all OPAGUE PAINT MARKERS,,,yep customers come to my spot and get personalized graffiti hats all day,,i carry a box full of every color under the sun to do these for customers,,

most common are the areas where they live in,,,tourist like nyc,,but kids like BRONX,,OR DA BRONX,,,BROOKLYN OR BKLYN...

JOYCE ADD SOME SPLATS TO RIM AND THEY REALLY BRING THE design to life,,,check em out,,

first rule,,always make the letters a bit open,,meaning not too tight together,,PEOPLE WANT TO READ THERE NAMES CLEAN AND CLEAR,,,

dont add splats in the name or youll loose the name,,TOO MUCH FOR A TINY SPOT,,,

typical me I start by looking at the pic, and was realy blown away by the cleannes of all the lines, then I read that you ahd been doing them with markers. had a realy good laugh because I had studyed the pic from 2 inch from the screen to try to find over spray....
