Default Re: Pat Needssome help please

ok

i've found the answer on a pinstriping website.

Clear over one shot? Yes. Just use One Shot Hardener instead of reducer.. Put hardener in a plastic cup. Pallet paint with hardener instead of reducerUse with your metallic gold and silver it helps the flow. Or you can also use house of color striping paint and also automotive base coat

Wipe mistakes? Use denatured alcohol it will wipe one shot and auto base coat off most surfaces without smears.Available at hardware stores or paint stores

Brush Storage? Clean brush out with mineral spirits. There are couple of ways you can store brushes

For mobile service. Get some black packing sponge. Cut slits in black packing sponge. Dunk brush in neatsfoot oil run through fingers remove excess oil.Shape brush so that it looks like the shape of a sword. You don't want the brush drooping over with oil .Place handle of the brush in the foam so that the hair is horizontal without touching anything. This is best if you have travel with your brushes. You don't want to let them get kinked. That can ruin your day
If you are in a shop or at a car show. Get a container that will hold mineral spirits something that has a top.Lay brushes in mineral spirits. This is for short term storage.Day or two .Long term store in neats foot oil. Remember to clean out oil before use

What brush? Mack Series 10 size #0 blue wrap ferrule.(Don't get it confused with a series 20 green wrapped ferrule. Series 20 is a touchup brush). Series 10 is a100% unmixed blue squirrel hair.Turns very well and will hold enough paint for long lines.Very good brush for beginners or Master stripers

PFUUUUHHHH, brush cost 12$ in USA , 30$ in Fance
