The Anthem doesn't have a cap to remove, so this trick doesn't apply to all airbrushes. Are you using the semi opaque or transparent autoair? The semi opaque sucks! I've tried everything to get that to spray good and the only thing it's good for is large areas. With that said, the transparent and the detail colors work great and if they're a little thick add some reducer and they'll be fine. And throw away those craft paints. They're not meant to go through an airbrush and the pigments aren't ground fine enough. If you do get it thin enough to go through the airbrush, it will be so transparent you'll have to go over it several times. Another thing to avoid spidering is move faster. You might be going to slow for the air pressure. You should be shooting autoair aroung 30 to 60 psi. If you don't have one yet, pick up the autoair manual and read it, it's a big help.
