Not sure of what type of compressor you have but if has a moisture drain on it you should open it and get rid of any excess water.

One place I used to stay I had an awful time getting rid of moisture so I added a 25 foot piece of air hose before my airbrush hose and coiled the 25 foot section and it got rid of the moisture. That extra distance helped to dry out the air before it reached the brush. Hope this helps.
