I used to paint signs, Gross, and used the pin stripe brushes, when I was finished useing em, I cleaned em, and diped em in oil and reshaped em. I wiped the excess oil off but left some in the brush untill the next time I used em, when I was ready to use em again, I cleaned em in a thinner that had oil in it first. Hope this helps ya.
