Ok everybody after much debate and much capitulation we’ve made a decision!

First I must thank Brush and Don for running a great contest and providing a wonderful forum for all of us to partake in something like this. I think all the entries are fabulous and I would be proud to use any one of them for the store, however there can be only one.

While the popular vote went to Patoche and the wonderful brush detailed entry, my wife and I are of the opinion it focuses more heavily on the painting side of things.

The runner up entry from Cameron Arts gets the nod.

This entry showcases many different styles of art form, the design lends itself to scaling up and down and the overall concept allows the store to be opened in many other cities without disturbing the overall look and feel of the logo. In our opinion this design is the one that meets our needs more fully.

As a side note, it kind of reminds me of the “google” logo in that the letters that make up the logo are shapes that can be manipulated depending on the season and targeted to marketing. Very attractive!

So while the popular vote is for Patoche, the winning entry at a very close second is Cameron Arts!!!!
