What brand airbrush do you own?

No reason for asking really just thought it might be interesting to see the results.

    Hey Don,

I have been using it quite a bit. I have only used Creatix and AA paints and they work just fine through it. I have gotten to the point where I never pick up the Paasche or the Iwata (not that they are bad brushes). I have grown to prefer the Infinity. It produces very fine lines, very balanced in your hand, and cleanup is a snap. The .15 needle nozzle is a little tempermental when it comes to cleaning since it is so small, but a few passes with my small wire brush and water cleans it up just fine. Now all I need is a little talent...............

    Thanks,

    Jim

I've been so busy with the server move I haven't had to check with you on it, glad you like it. Its a smallllll needle for sure but you'd be amazed how far I've bent mine and straightened out using two quarters the thing sprayed perfectly.

You'll get there just keep at it nothing worth its salt comes over night, practice, practice as Ms Darla would say.

    Hey Don,

Funny you mentioned that. I left my needle in a tub of dirty water the other day. Went to put the Infinity back together and could not find the needle. I then realized I left in the tub of water. The only problem was I tossed the water out on my driveway with the needle and only realized this after I was looking for the needle. Bent it like a fish hook!!! However, I was able to straighten it up with no problems and it worked fine. Thanks again........

I got 2 Iwatas the First one (CM-C+) was bought by my father because he thinks that I should have the best things available at all time. Which is a mistake because i got lost with all the little tiny knobs and settings. Way over my head for right now.

I Got an Iwata HP-BCS in the mail a couple days ago and so far has proven to be a charm and hope to practice on it more often and post the results. So far i have gotten great feedback from Darla, Dom, You Don, Rowie, Spiderman and lots of other great members. So hopefully in time i will become a great airbrush artists and will be able to pass on all info i have learned from this website and through my own trial and error to future airbrushers.

Nice poll to see what airbrushes people are using. I have a bunch of airbrushes that I have collected over the years from most makers. My favorites and most used from my collection are my EFBE airbrushes, H&S Infinity 2 in 1 and Evolution2 in 1, Aerograph Super63's. I wish I had my original Badger 100 side feed that I bought in 1987. The newer Badger airbrushes while good just aren't close quality wise in my opinion.

4 Vega 2000 Love them too
1 Omni 3000 (I use for black, best line brush I've tried)

1 VL ( I use this for top binder only)
1 iwata hpc ( for my hardsurface detail)
1 Iwata knock off Peak( works ok but not as smooth as my hpc)

My next to will be an Infinity after I move and can afford to get another toy.

Anthem 155 still learnng how to use the darn thing. Anyone know if this brush is solvent proof? I have ran some body shop thinner through it to clean it out. Also any suggestions on a nice one quiet compressor that works well with this brush. I have to be able to use the compressor and not piss anyone off. Thanks for the help.

I just bought a new snapon airbrush 175ta which I believe is made by badger. I have never painted with a airbrush before so I am looking forward to learning.
