I use dots, daggers, & linework every day I work..I painted 41 shirts today, & while I was in the middle of one of them I wondered to myself how many dagger strokes were in a typical shirt..I can tell you it's a whole lot..each sparkle is 8 dagger strokes, & I probably have a 9 sparkle minimum to each shirt..I firmly believe that each airbrush stroke is started with a dot & usually stopped with a dagger (especially in cursive lettering)..so regardless if you're aware of it or not, airbrushing is a continuous succession of dots & daggers.. I feel you must know how to accomplish the fundamental brush strokes (there's only two or three) or you won't advance far with the craft of airbrushing....That's my opinion..![]()
