    From reading what is posted in the page Don linked to these changes wont effect Adobe Reader or Adobe Flash Player witch is what the basic home user uses to read PDF formatted webpages and files and watch web based video's. If you use other Adobe products it is important information to learn and have. Thanks Don.

    One of the reason Adobe is doing this they are in trouble $$ wise, Flash is old school HTML5 is replacing it just as Steve Jobs said it would.
    Adobe is now playing catch up with HTML5.

    $49.00 a month for access to all Adobe products sounds like a great deal to me but some folks are pretty upset

    Scott Kelby, president of the National Association for Photoshop Professionals--objected in an open letter to Adobe.

    The open letter doesn't mention Reader or Flash. I'm wondering if this is on the Adobe website? I'll do some fishing...

    Back from fishing, couldn't find anything just quickly glancing through the news section directly related to Flash Player and Reader. I'm not knowledgeable on HTML and it's formatting. I'll do some more research on it. My hopes at this point is that Reader and any upgrades to players will remain free for non-commercial users like myself.

    HTML5 is being referred to as "The Edge" or "Edge" and is more of a player / editing application for every media type coming down the pike. It can be purshased separately or as part of CS5 or CS6 after they are released.

    CS = Creative Suite

    I think this will end my 'fishing' for the time being. Maybe the open letter will give the powers to be some kind of profound insight on the needs and wants of the masses instead of just the stock holders and alike.
