Wow, what a day!
Cliff (cdv) and I drove 5 1/2 hours (one way) to Ironton, OH for their Rally on the River bike rally to work the event for the SONS OF ANARCHY TV show!!!!!
OK, lemme explain...... The media / marketing company that has the TV show as a client goes to bike rallies, and sets up as a marketing tool to promote the show. They set up a mach-clubhouse as a place to hang out, etc. They give away Sons Of Anarchy Doo-rags (bandana's), and they needed somebody to airbrush them.
Pat - aka The Airbrush Guy - hooked me up with this gig as it was way too far for him to handle. I called the company and told them I'd find them someone for the event.....and if I couldn't, I'd take care of it. Needless to say, with only 3 days notice, I ended up handling it myself. Then I found out it was 5 1/2 hours away from my house. OUCH!
Cliff was gracious enough to come down for the day and help out. Big Time Thanks Cliff! Couldn't have done it without ya!
We airbrushed for 5 hours, and managed to customize about 65 of the doo-rags. I learned one thing for sure.....I don't know how you T-shirt artists do this for a living!!!! It was grueling. My hand still hurts. I think I will definately stick with the hard surface stuff.....this was a bit out of my element......actually, it was the first time I ever attempted to do something like this. I think I've painted 3 shirts in my life up to this point.
Way cool day, and who knows......I hope to do this for em in the future, as I'm a HUGE fan of the show!!!!

PS....I wanted to get a picture actually sitting on Jax's bike....but I saw how he reacted to that the last time someone sat on his bike......."Don't ever sit on another man's bike, son!" LOL
