About LinkBacksRowie, I know you like snakes so here are some pics of one of our locals. It's a young black snake. They are very docile and easy to handle. This is a fairly small one. They grow to about six feet in length.

Bill, brother you are a champion!
What a beaut pet that is! I am SO jealous, mind you the only snakes we get around here are Copper heads, red and yellow bellied black snakes, tiger snakes and the odd diamond python (carpet snake).
All of them are really cranky and apart from the python they will easily near kill you with a small bite, not that I'm scared off but that small fact.
Also, they are really good at hiding around here, only time you tend to find them is when you REALLY don't want too.
