Thread: Hey wanted to shout out

It is has been a while since I posted and thought I better make an appearance before Don won't let me play here any more.

I miss my time here at the forum and just today I was talking with a friend about the forum and well decided to say hello again.

My little hole in the wall at the market has held its own so far through all of this mess with the economy and I even expanded. Course that is not because of the large sums of cash I am NOT raking in, , it is because I am stubborn, bullheaded and have an addiction to airbrushing and the toys that go with it.

I have added a lot to the shop.. I now offer airbrushing, of course, on everything and anything you can hold down or hold still, this includes t-shirts to automotive. In addition I offer screen printing, transfers, sublimation printing, pad printing, pinstriping, fine art, framing and of course customer counseling (which seems to just be part of the job lately)

I have, this week airbrushed mannequins, tire covers, a trailer, helmet and multiples of t shirts in addition to several orders for transfers. CRAZY MAN.. no rest for the weary. Course most people would not work at this pace for long or want to. Here I sit at 9 p.m. and have not eaten, so may just forget about that part for tonight and hit the sack.

Hey QC, good to see your post and hear you're doing well with work coming in and the shop growing. Even if it's from stubborn inclinations and tendancies! LOL Keep it up and hold on, your inspiration will serve you well I'll wager.

On my way out the door to go back to the market. Seems I have had several airbrush people trying to move in on me, but it is tough to hold your own right now. I have many, many zero days. Most people can't afford to stay. (see previous note) Now that the weather is cooling a bit things may pick up in that department. The biggest thing I have to change right now is the custom this and custom that. Big pain, no mula. Oh well, right now I guess a buck is a buck.

Hey back to all.. YES, still pluggin away.. Every once in a while I get the blues and think about throwing in the towel.. Then someone comes in, sends an email or calls and says thank you after long picking up the item. To me that is so special that they would take time out of their lives to let me know how much the gift was liked or how much they liked it.

It has been a very eventful year but on this day of Thanks, I do Thank everyone around me or that have touched my life in some way. Together we are strong and can over come obstacles that cross our paths. There are times when a simple word from a friend can lift you right up.

Be good to your family, your friends and yourselves.
