Thread: Did you miss me? :)

Hello all!

This is my first login for three weeks, I've been soooo busy!

The story goes like this:
In 1992 I started studying computer science at the university with the goal to get my master degree in 4-6 years. 1997 all exams and classes were done, and "only" the master thesis left to do... But it's not that easy, the thesis work is worth 1/8 of all credits you need for a masters degree. Anyway, there was no deadline though, and things have rolled on after that; jobs, wife, children... Now, or more exactly three weeks ago, I realized that a final deadline to get my exam is veeery close. If I don't have my master thesis done by mid-june, I will loose more or less all credits I have from my studying years which of course means I will never graduate because I'm not going back to school! So the last weeks I've been at work during the day and writing on the thesis in the evenings. No time for airbrushing, and no time for the forum either. Things are looking pretty good, so I think I'll make it. When I get it done, I'll drink champagne for at least a week

I'll have a chat with the professor in 20 minutes to see if I'm progressing in the right direction. I think I'm doing ok, but you never know with professors. Or what do you say lsa?

Rowie, I was lucky enough to be able to pick a subject I like and know. It's actually something I've been working with all these years I've been postponing the thesis The only problem is I don't like writing, but at least it's easier to write when you know what you are writing about!

Well, gotta get going. Don't wanna keep the professor waiting!
