LET ME START WITH A LITTLE BACKGROUND, I STARTED BODY WORK & PAINTING AT ABOUT 16 YEARS OLD AT MY DADS BODY SHOP, IT WAS THE LACQUAR.AND GAS WELDING DAYS, AFTER WORKING IN THE COLLISION, AND RESTORATION INDUSTRY, I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE A SALES REP FOR WHAT IS NOW VALSPAR, I WAS A TERRITORY MANAGER, AFTER THE VALSPER ACQUISITION I WORKED FOR TWO OTHER MAJOR PAINT COMPANIES AND FIVE YEARS AS A AUTO BODY JOBBER, THE BOTTOM LINE IS , I HAVE BEEN IN THE DIRT, ON THE FLOOR OF THE BODY SHOP TO WORKING WITH CHEMISTS IN PAINT MANUFACTURING TO SPRAYING PAINT IN CLINICS FOR CLIENTS,MY CURIOSITY AND INTEREST IN QUALITY EUROPEAN PAINT TECHNOLOGY HAS ME NOW DEDICATED TO MIPA AIRBRUSH AND AUTO PAINTS

MY FRIEND OATS AND I PAINTED THIS SKULL ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO WITH MIPA.ALL THE CARTS ARE PAINTED WITH MIPA PRIMER,BASE AND CLEAR

Hey Bill, nice artwork! i use AA and autobourne, do you have any experience in these paints to compare it to mipa? also, are there any outlets in australia that stock these paints?

Very nice artwork. Mipa sounds similar to Etac paint. Are there any differences?

sorry for the caps,my old monitor and eyes make it tough to view text.mipa is very similar to auto-borne.mipa airbrush paint is only available in the us at this point,but i will be looking into ways of shipping outside the us.mipa airbrush paints are sold directly to you.no distributors.it will take longer to generate sales,but i would rather have a relationship with the customers.(the end users) slow steady growth is my goal,with service before,during and after the sale.a small family orientated part of mipa is the business model for mipa airbrush paints.

DON, sprayed both mipa and auto-borne,he can post his feedback.

I have not sprayed etac and can not answer .oats can answer he has sprayed both,I can tell you mipa is a concentrated formula.we decided not to reduce the formula.this will allow the artist to decide how fast coverage is needed.(fast covering for background with no reducer) with the ability of this paint on several surfaces you can control viscosity and how fast or slow to get coverage. on the other hand a new painter may need to play around and find the proper reduction that matches the airbrush and equipment.a 1:1 mix,1 part paint and 1 part reducer is a good starting point.mipa water borne paint not reduced will cover 2 times faster than urethane.

hope this dosnt post twice! computer keeps dropping out!! but like sabre hope this paint comes to oz, sounds very interesting, look forward to seeing some work with it oats,riki.

make that 3 now as I am a big fan of the solvents... I have always gotten great results and easy to use only problem is the instructions for us novices like which hardner do I use for the filler or the colour coat - I always get them confused H5, H10, or MS.... lol and there are so many languages on the containers too...

the paint store that you get the clear from should stock the wbc-water borne paint line if available in your country.I would like to ship worldwide,but shipping prices from fedex and ups are nuts.a small 3 pound box to sydney would cost $95.00,for $25.00 worth of product, this will not work.I will check with usps next.what clear are you spraying ? I should get a sample of a new 2-k water borne clear soon for evaluation.what about your urethane 2-k primer ? Have you sprayed HS-F41 or 4+1 primer ? with HS-F41 you can build body lines, it's the best urethane primer i have sprayed. Let me know what products you can find there.

Sounds cool Bill, and nice art work... I am interested in how well everyone likes it, I spray AA... spray it a lot.... so I am very curious on how well it sprays and price. So I will be keeping up with the reviews.
