Thread: paint blurring and loosing definition

Hey everyone,

I seem to be having an issue and im not sure if it is common or not, or if im just making a newb mistake. Im using Createx paints, and an aztek brush set up, im painting on pre stretched and primed canvass, im finding that once the paint hits the canvass it blurs out, and looses definition even if im using a shield or frisket...now I better explain, I wash out the brush between quick color changes with createx airbrush cleaner, water and sometimes just simple glass cleaner...im thinking one of these chemicals may be the cause....if anyone has any ideas id appreatiate the help..thanks

Posting a picture would help in trying to diagnose the problem. It could just be overspray from holding the airbrush to far away, spraying to much at one time or just from the angle of the brush when you are spraying. Post a picture and these guys and gals will help out for sure.
