    Default Fasglitter

Has anyone successfuly used Fasglitter with an Eclipse HP-CS? I'm new to the AB scene and just purchased the CS which comes with the .35 mm nozzle. Does anyone make a .5 nozzle for the CS. I've thinned the fasglitter out a little but still cannot get it through the nozzle at 40-45 psi and would get a .5 if I could find a place that sold them. Input greatly appreciated.

Colby, I know Coast Airbrush carries them, I would bet Dixie, and Dick Blick do as well. Remember that you would need to change the needle, nozzle, and probably the nozzle cap for the step up in size.

Whether the 0.5mm nozzle setup would let you do your glitter, I don't know, a lot really depends on the size of the glitter, and the medium you are using to carry it, if it is too sticky, or too viscous, then it may act as enough of a plug even for that size opening. You may find that something like a FlakeBuster or a mini-spraygun may do better for you if you are going to do much of this kind of thing.

i use poly flake glitter for shirts with a paasche vl 5 with createx transbase works great. the poly flake is very fine and it adds a nice bling to some shirts, you can find it at hobby lobby, for autos and such i use a big bottom feed gun with a nut or small bolt in the can to shake & stir up the flakes in a clear coat, i spray over whatever color metallic paint base like say red metallic then clear with red flakes in it,takes a few coats but looks great
