Hi short introduction I work in a fast-paced environment where customers are constantly asking for orders. Now with that said I also happen to own a compressor that needs to cool down every so often in order to start up again.
The problem seems to be that there is air leaking out of a factory drilled hole in the small valve that controls pressure. I found the number to the factory that makes these and the operator told me that the problem may be an overheating issue. He told me that it could be fixed by an oil change. But for I did any of that I wanted to see what some air brush gurus might have some advice for me. I have only been airbrushing for two months and I don't know much about the compressor and I am still learning.
I have tried draining it and the problem persists. There is a hissing noise that mainly starts when the pressure gage is around 30-90. Above that pressure and the hissing stops. no air shots out. But thats a problem because I cannot work very well with such high pressure.Anyway anything you guys throw at me will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
