That looks like the Harbor Freight Filter and regulator.
It's okay, not the greatest in the world for accuracy or filtration, but that in tandem with what you already have, with a 50' hose in between, should probably take care of you. You can use more hose inbetween, but you shouldn't use less.
Like any water traps though, you do have to empty them periodically, the same with the tank on your compressor.
Make it a habit to do that at the beginning and end of every painting session.

This one should probably do fine for you, there are better filter setups out there, but be prepared to sell your first born for them.

You can look at DeVilbiss, Sata, Binks, and others too.
Unless you are fighting really dirty air, the filtration they offer would probably be wasted. The pressure regulator end of it should be fine too. As long as you can adjust your pressure within 5psi you can work with it. If you want even finer control beyond that, you could get the exotic pressure regulators, and or a G-MAC. The G-MAC would let you tweak/fine-tune the pressure right at the airbrush while you are painting.

Your compressor probably has a regulator and watertrap on it already, so if you are adding this to your setup, put a 50' hose between it and your compressor, then you can hook your brush or manifold to this regulator.

Either of these would do fine for you, as I said, you will probably already have a watertrap and filter on the compressor already, so adding the hose between the compressor with it's filters, and the new one will probably take care of your needs without any problems.

The biggest problems I've run into on cheapo regulators is that they aren't very good at doing precise control on the air pressure, it's like the regulator only understands one or two settings, and nothing else. So as long as you can do smooth adjustments to within a few pounds of pressure, you will do just fine with it.

No matter what you get, you need to make sure you empty the traps and tanks of water daily.
I empty mine at the start and end of every painting session, and sometimes during the session if it's really humid. Not only does this help keep you from getting water in your airline and paint, it also helps you avoid getting rust in your tank(s). If you think getting water going through your airline is bad, wait 'til you get rust an junk! Those not only mess up your paintjob, they can trash the interior of your brush (packing/seals, airvalve, paint passage, nozzle and needle, etc.)
